Return Policy

We recommend you read our Returns Policy prior to making a purchase from our website, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds and returns. This Returns Policy only applies where you make a purchase online from our website.

Returns must be done within 7 working days starting from the day the goods are delivered to you. The item(s) must be in its original purchase condition to be returned. The packaging is unopened, unused, unmarked, and not disfigured in any way or it will not be approved for returning. Receipts and tax invoices must be correct and intact valid and intact. All refunds will be returned in the original tender. 

Upon delivery and prior to unloading, product(s) must be carefully checked. Any discrepancy should be stated in the remark column of the delivery order document before the delivery vehicle leaves the site. Any refund/return application shall be made clear prior to unloading product(s) from delivery vehicle. Claims for shortages, breakages or incorrect deliveries will not be entertained if details of such claims are not stated in this delivery order documents at time of receiving of goods. 

You may apply for a return/refund with the following reasons:

• You received incomplete product(s) (Eg. missing items or incomplete parts)
• You received the wrong product(s) (Eg. wrong size, wrong colour, different product)
• You received product(s) with physical damage (Eg. dented, broken, scratched)
• You received faulty product(s) (Eg. malfunctioned, cannot be used)
• You received counterfeit product(s)

Return Policy Exceptions

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange on the following items:

• Cement or cementitious products
• Construction steel bars or industrial metal products
• Timber, and related products
• Selected shelf-life products
• Special order or custom-made products
• Any product/s specifically cut to size at your request
• Tinted paint (if you change your mind on the colour)

Note: Please be informed that these goods/products that are strictly not returnable & refundable, due to its product content, usage guidelines, shelf life, expiry time, storage condition and other related characteristics. Each good/product may vary accordingly.

Remarks:

1. Please note that courier charges for your return package will NOT be covered by Gim Lian Khim (Hardware) Sdn Bhd.

2. Please obtain a delivery receipt from courier company of your choice or record your tracking number to trace your return package if it reaches our warehouse.

3. Gim Lian Khim (Hardware) Sdn Bhd. will not be liable for any loss or damage of your return package and/or product (s) handled by courier company of your choice.

4. Please note that in person returns to our warehouse are NOT accepted.
